About Me

My name is Sarah and I am a curly head girl. I quit the battle of trying to tame my crazy curls about a year and a half ago, thanks to the DevaCurl Method. I love sharing the idea of going natural and keeping your curls from being crunchy. It hit me that I needed a change when I realized I was yelling at my fiancé for asking if I wanted to go swimming about 20 minutes after I finished straightening my hair, which used to take up about 45 minutes of my day, hair should not get to take up that much time in your life. Luckily I found DevaCurl and Shawn realized I was much calmer and happier with my crazy curls.

Besides Shawn, the other love of my life is Polly Pocket, my Cairn terrier dog. A feisty little dog she is anything but a couch potato. If something is happening on our block her nose is pushed up against the window like the crazy house wives of the ‘50’s. 

I have had the pleasure to hold a position in a retail store for the past 5 years. To anyone who has ever worked retail you know what that entails, anyone who hasn’t worked retail, you should try it.

Besides work I am going to school to complete my bachelors degree. With going to school and working, that adds up to not a whole lot of time for anything else. When I do find time out of school or work however I enjoy exercising, traveling, checking out local venues and most outdoor activities.

This blog is a composition of my random thoughts, ideas, new things to try and reviews. I hope you enjoy reading what I write and perhaps even write your own blog to share your own special thoughts and ideas. Just like curls this blog is a little different everyday. Enjoy!
